Contract Authorizing the Sale of Chometz

On Passover we are prohibited from owning chometz i.e. food or drink containing leaven or fermented grain products such as beer or whiskey. Therefore, any chametz remaining in our home before the onset of Pesach must be sold to a non-Jew (the 'chometz' remains physically in your home but legally belongs to the non-Jew).

Use this form to authorize Rabbi New to sell your chometz on your behalf. After Passover the rabbi will buy back the chometz products on your behalf.

Be sure to submit your form before Wednesday, April 8.

I (We) hereby authorize Rabbi Moishe New to sell all chometz that may be in my (our) possession wherever it may be - at home, at my (our) work place, vacation residence, or elsewhere - in accordance with the requirements of Jewish Law as incorporated in the special contract for the sale of chometz.
